a rose won’t
surrender beauty
to dying

petals curl
into memories
that linger

long beyond
a waning bouquet’s
heady scent.

  1. This is gorgeous but I have to tell you...your zen bell chime up there had my husband and me looking everywhere for the mysterious bell sound that suddenly started...I usually click open a few links at a time to read so your's wasn't on top. Lol!

    1. Hannah, thanks. For a while after I put the chimes on my blog it threw me off when I heard it. Like you, I searched for the source. :)

  5. Beautiful! I have saved roses from my children for years, preserved and displayed in a huge vase. They never die ....
